Wow this thread got a little sidetracked, should have expected it though.

Problem solved this morning. Was lucky enough that the local dealer had a pigtail in stock to splice on.

Why can't Ford supply a heat shrink crimp splice in 1 piece? There was 2 little aluminum (at least I think it was) plain crimp splices with heat shrink tubing seperate. Just another annoyance. I guess at least it was included.
