my official mod thread '05 lariat 4x4 SCREW

This will be my official mod thread for my recently purchased lariat 4x4. check back anytime you are bored as this will be where i add pics every time i add a mod. As most of you know i sold my 2010 FX2 and bought the fully loaded 2005 lariat 4x4 a few weeks ago. i absolutely love it!

when i bought the lariat it was pretty much bone stock aside from a bedliner, exhaust, C.A.I, upgraded component speakers, honewell rear dvd entertainment system, and 2.5" level kit. the truck is in excelent condition inside and out.

Since purchasing i have already thrown in a kenwood touchscreen double din head unit with nav/dvd/usb/bluetooth/steering wheel controls, a bass control ****, a JL 500w amp, and a probox with 2-8" probox subs. I also painted the rear fender wells with a few coats of under coating with a coat of gloss black over it, glued the shifter cap back on, and silenced an ashtray rattle with a few pieces of adhesive foam.

Future plans include:
18" eagle alloy 079 wheels in chrome
305/65/18 BFGoodrich all terrain T/A KO tires (33")
billet grilles
Nfab running boards in chrome
flowmaster 40 series with tips that turndown angled behind the bumper
darker tint all around
paint matched bushwacker fender flares
projector headlights with HIDs
HIDs in the fogs
Paint matched handles, mirror caps, grille surround, and possibly bumpers
smoked LED tails and 3rd brake light
LED interior lights
custom emblems
billet antenna

and now for some pics i took today.

Nice looking Screw

I would swap the Flow 40 to a 44 if you want to stick with Flowmaster, sound much better (I have one on my truck, ran the 40's on the stang) Window tint go 5-15% and have fun keeping the money in your wallet

hmmmm. never heard the 44. i had a 40 on my 2010 FX2 and it sounded awesome. the one i have on here now is just too quiet. i will be doing 5% all around on the tint as always. i have a medical condition called extreme photophobia so i have a medical exemption from the state and can run as dark as i want.

Looks pretty good though kinda funky without the running boards. Maybe some white FX2s? Would look killer. Future plans sound good except for exhaust...

heh for good reason. I went from a flow 44 to Borla and will never have a flowmaster again.

It looks great all shined up! Looks like you have some good plans for it that should turn out nice when complete.

i had borla on a 98 chevy silverado. sounded pretty nice but havent had borla since. i happen to like the way the flow 40 sounded on my 2010 FX2.

stay tuned for pics of my next mods to come at the end of the month.
