sold '10 FX2 and bought '05 lariat 4x4 pics

sold my 2010 FX2 and bought a 2005 F150 lariat 4x4 fully loaded. just tired of the high payments on my FX2 and i wanted a 4x4 so i sold the FX2 on wednesday and bought the 4x4 on thursday. got the 4x4 for half what i paid for the FX2. super happy with the new ride. already has 2.5" level, bed liner, exhaust, C.A.I. and slightly bigger tires. leather with wood grain, power everything, sliding back window, rear entertainment package, all the goodies. got some plans for it so stay tuned.

went from this

to this. (sorry crappy cell phone pic)

I don't really like to go older when i sell trucks but you got your self a nice 4x4 and i agree with the payment part. hope you enjoy your new ride and seeing what you did to the old one i can't wait to see what you do to this one

2005 with a 5.4? Might want to keep this in mind. Been there, done that.

Not a bad switch. Wouldnt blame you for doing so. With truck payments and all. Do what makes sense and you can afford comfortably. The 05 looks nice! Even a 2wd to me needs to sit up so I already give a thumbs up for the switch.
That Fx2 was a sharp ride though. But the 04-08 F150s have become one of my favorite model truck vehicles of all time. A close tie to the 88-98 k1500 chevy/gmc's.

I'd PTM the bumpers, find some stock 20 OEMs with some meaty tires. Look even better!!

Expensive lesson, but at least you got out of it before you couldn't afford the payments.

Nice looking truck, sounds like a well reasoned decision you made. The 73-79s and 04-08s just "look right" to me.

Hopefully the 05 injectors will not stick & hydrolock your 5.4 3v!
