2008 F150 battery light

I replaced the battery and the altenator yet now when I turn on the truck on after a few min or so the battery light comes back on??? Seriously, 200. just for the alt-what is the most likely reason the light is still coming on? cant find the alt fuse-the battery gauge within the control panel is reading normal-Im pretty sure everything is just as it was-its a three yr old truck- V8 5.4- anyone know? plz help

Probably a defective alternator. Where did you buy it?

my light is on and has been for the past about 4 years. i have heard that these trucks are picky with the alternators and if its not from ford it will turn the light on

is the alternator putting out 14.4v?

Take it back to Advance and have them bench test it.

Most of the Aftermarket ones give these trucks problems. Buy a ford one. You get what you pay for. Maybe you can find an OE one on ebay.
