You want one that's not fading, peeling and looking like crap, right?

I just went to my local dealer and it was about $35 - $40 for a new one.

I think it is a crap shoot on the front emblem. I've seen older trucks with no problems at all. My 01 Expedition emblem looks brand new while my 07 screw emblem had to be replaced as it peeled and faded.

I repainted my original one. You wont get the blue off and still have a nice looking emblem, I can tell you that. I did a flat black though that looks pretty nice.

My 2004 emblems look fantastic still. Lucky me . Maybe get 04 05 model emblems. The 2006+ font bulged emblems have nothing but faded unhappy reviews.

My Ford dealership replacement was both tape and sort of a bolt on type deal. There are two plastic pins that you use a self-cutting nut on once you push it in the grill. I also toyed with getting a custom one from here: http://www.billetbadges.com/products_ovals/
