Dielectric Grease

I've got a new set of COPs coming in and I'm not sure where to put the dielectric grease. I've got a 2004 Lariat with 5.4 3v motor. Do I just put it around the entrance of the boot and around the gasket?

It goes inside the boot to prevent the boot from fusing to the spark plug and also helps to form a seal/protective barrier.

Thanks, I put it inside the boot like everyone recommended and it was a failry easy install. Truck runs good. Thanks again!
