Yeah I plan on doing it in a satin black going to get a compressor this summer with some paint guns so I can shoot my own parts with out rattle cans. Its about the same as Atoms and Fx Harley write up .Its very ez to do just don't rush it .A few things, alot of trucks will not have the harness so you will need to make one up 2 grounds, Key, and brake a hot wire and the dimmer light wire and the O/D 2 wires as they told us. I pulled my dimmer from the radio since it just their not hooked up to my aftermarket radio. And the wires heading to the column shifter will be dead you want the end coming up from the dash if you do the wrong side your truck will not shift out of park and your key will pull out in drive .You can use some 2 inch shop vac flex and black tape hose to hook up the vents for the back seat area .And pull your old one running under the seats cut the end off that plugs in the port and rig a new trunk to feed the flow trough .You will need to drill a 2 inch hole to feed the new shifter cable on the side of the gas petal. The cable are the same but the mounting point by the shifters is different by 2 inches so that sucks . I just used a drem tool for my hole that metal it thick for a hole saw your be snapping pilot bits left and right.Oh in order to get the old dash off and new one on you will need to cut the bar on the dash under the wheel in the middle about 3 inches even eech way. This will still bolt up and will not effect the dash at all .Its just a short cut if you don't want to pull your wheel and a 2nd airbag. Always pull your ground on the Batt a 1/2 hr before when working with air bags and wires.
