Just got a recall notice for the airbag wiring harness in the mail today. Has anyone else went in to have it replaced? How long did it take?

got mine in the mail today too

 

I had mine in last week or so and it was only in for about 45 min. But make sure you call the dealership cause they had to order the part for my truck. just a heads up.

 

I got my letter today...I'll have it done the next time the truck goes in...which hopefully is a very long time from now

I imagine about an hour or so for labor

 

I received my notice earlier this week -- I'm going to try to get it in in the next week or two before I put my truck into storage for the summer......

 

I got mine on Tuesday I'll probable get it taken care of in the next few weeks.

 

I have 2 now, a brake booster one and this airbag wire one. I may as well start a folder!

 

Had mine replaced yesterday. Took all of fifteen minutes to replace.

 

That brake booster is no joke bro. You should really get that taken care of. I got my notice and then 2 days later it went while I way driving and had to use my emergency brake to help me stop. Thank god I was only about a mile away from my dealer at the time.

 

What is this airbag recall all about? My airbag light has been stuck on since I bought the truck (about a year and 1/2 ago). Will this fix that?
