Flashing red light is the passive anti-theft system (PATS).

My guess would be an issue between the Edge and PCM. Somehow the PCM lost its hex info. Were you doing anything with the Edge just before then? Also, what is your location and current outside temperature?

Wrong. The only time the edge communicates with the PCM is during a program change. Other than that it's a gauge pod.

OP, where do you live? Hard to troubleshoot things when you don't fill in any vehicle/location info.

you say it "won't turn over"... it won't even crank? Or it will crank but not fire?

If it will crank but not start it could be the fuel control module

If it won't crank it must be electrical... does your Edge pod still display? Pull up the voltage reading and see what your battery is saying.

Hey did you find a solution to why your F150 would not start my 04 F150 is doing the exact same thing. Died on me would not crank or turn over found a big hole in the fuel pump module replaced it and still will not crank it has a flashing red light on dash if help would be appreciated. Just wondering
