Suspension Lift Stress!

Looking for a decent 6" suspension that will allow for me to keep my factory 20" wheels... Any suggestions? I am in Japan right now and am thinking about having it done before I get back! Help!!!!!

The only suspension lift kit that specifically allows you to keep your stock wheels is the rancho, but it is only a 4"

The reason is the factory wheels have much more backspace than aftermarket wheels and the new steering knuckle will not clear the factory wheel in the 17" size but the rancho does. Also the rancho allows 35's just like the other 6" kits do because the stock wheels will fit and you don't need as much height when the wheels stay tucked in.

Your stock 20" wheels have a 6.5" BS and all 6" kits require 4.5" BS or less on a 17" wheel. With the 20's you might be able to run them on a 6" w/o a problem. If you do get a rub with the 20's on a 6" kit just add some wheels spacers in the front, they will move your wheels out giving the same effect as less BS.

Me personally, I would get the rancho over any 6" out there, I think its a better designed kit. and it looks better with the stock wheels tucked in where they should be.

Cool, thanks for the input. That just re-enforced my original decision about the 4" rancho. My kid is trying to talk me into a 6"! LOL I am already running 35's with 4.56's, now I am looking for some height. Thanks again!

just do a 4 inch rancho, its a great kit. if you want the extra 2 inches when your done put a level kit on the front and an add a leaf in the rear, instant 6 inches
