Raptor inspired decals...

I have been working on an idea that I have. I own a decal shop, and wana do something cool to my truck. I love the Raptor decals, so I did a quick design on a Raptor inspired kit. I would do this in flat black, and print black onto the flat to give some depth to the design. This is a quick design just to give me ideas on the final. Before and after of my truck shows all the work that I also would have to do. Black out the wheels, bumpers, and emblems. What do you all think???

Before...

AFTER.....

Well...it looks equally as bad on a F150 as it does on a Raptor. LOL
Hey, different strokes for different folks. If you like it, thats all that matters!

Ehh, the digital mud is not much to my taste on regular F150's or the raptor. What about something like what is on the Raptor XT?

I like the overall design but I don't like the black on your color truck. That's just my opinion, maybe if the decal was in white or a silver or even a light gray it might look better.

My opinion which means nothing is pretty much on these same lines. Not a big fan of stickers but if you have to do it then maybe something other than black on your color of truck. I've always really liked the maroon color but not sure blacked out is the way to go.

i did this to my truck almost a year ago now and love it... makes it stick and and does look pretty good one these body styles as well, i have a white one so it pops a little more and black goes well but i think if you played around on photo shop more and tried it again (with a light pic of your truck, not one when it is cloudy and rainy) you might get different feel for it... here are a couple pics of mine....

this next two are the is the first day i got it done i just took some pics, so the tail lights and the badges are different, but pretty much the best side pic i have of it, all my others are kinda angled ones...

Did a few quick ones before work. Added flares and some tire tred.. getting better. I know the flares look crappy. But these took me literally 5 min. LOL

The raptor style graphics are hideous plain and simple. It doesn't matter whether their on a raptor or a straight XLT.
I think the Maroon and Black combo on your truck could look very nice if done tastefully. Those graphics only make it look like *****.
You own a decal shop. Create your own one off design that accents your truck in a positive way instead of trying to copy someone elses bad idea and design.
But since it's your truck and this is only my opinion and I won't have to look at it parked in my driveway, do to your truck whatever makes you happy.

I see that Ford Motor Co. actually has a web site where you can play with differant graphics and see how the would look on a truck.

It won't look right with stock wheels IMO.
