The KM2s are great. I've got about 35k on my set and have a ton of tread left, 50k should be easily achievable. Just make sure you rotate every 3k miles (as you should with any mud terrain tire). The KM2 road noise is about the same as Toyo MT, but I find the KM2 to be better offroad and have a more aggressive lug pattern. The other nice thing about the KM2s is they are a lot lighter weight than some of the other tires. Less weight = less rotational mass = better mpg. The Toyos and Nittos are great tires too, I'm sure aby of them will suit you fine.

If you go with an AT, there is no doubt you should get the BFG AT/ko. My buddy just replaced his set which last 58k miles...on a 3/4 ton truck! Ridiculous.

When I used to work in the woods, about the only tires that would hold up were the Toyos. Not because of tread life, but because of the tough sidewall. The 3" minus rocks that they put on a lot of the roads would penetrate the sidewalls of other brands. Might be a consideration if you drive on a lot of logging roads.

I've had Goodyear Duratracs for about 2000 miles now. So far they are the best tire I've ever had. They perform amazingly in the snow and they should with the Snow rating. I purchased them from my local Goodyear dealer after a bit of haggling for $274 a piece and $132 road hazard protection for all 4.

I was easily able to get around when we got hit with 24" of snow a couple weeks ago. I have no worries at all that they will meet all my expectations.

There's really no way to tell how long a Set of Goodyear Duratracs will last, they are a pretty new design.

duratracs are a good price. im guessing i should avoid a 325 wide duratrac since its a snow tire? go with the 33 (295)?

so its down to duratrac, km2's or toyo mt's.

I love my nitto trail grapplers. Great in mud and snow....Never tried sand. Look amazing, not too loud, but have a nice hum. They ride pretty nice for an MT....I love them so far.

im thinking i spend allot of time in the snow. kinda leaning towards duratracs in a 33 inch size. hmmm.

there also 58 pounds vs 64 for the bfg at's.

plus for a km2 id have to go to a 35 because the next smallest is a 33.6 inch tire.

and open country mt's are heavy

I have km2's and to be honest they are quite crap on ice/compacted snow... but deep snow is a diferent story, they are great. I looked into getting my km2's siped, but 4wheel parts said it would void my warrunty I have around 15000 miles on mine, and they look very good (about 75%) I rotate like its going out of style, and I check my alignment every year.
