Leveled my truck, Headlight adjustment? EDIT Now with Pics..

I just put a 2 1/2" level on my '04. How much do I need to adjust my headlights? Isn't it a certain height at so many feet away?

It is in the owners manual on how to adjust. If you do not have one, you can download one for free from www.motorcraftservice.com.

Why adjust them? It's fun shining the rearview mirror on the car infront of you.
Just kidding, I think that it is like 3-4 feet up at 20 feet or something like that.

So there's a million trucks out there with this silly un-level look, blinding oncoming traffic all over America?

You ruined my day Martinez!

This mod is even worse than all the chevy guys putting on a set of wide wheels. They end up sticking out of the front fenders, but are inside the rear wells.

There is a very simple rule to designing vehicles. It's called the wedge.
Thinner, and/or Lower in the front - Wider and/or Taller in the rear.

Anything else, is uncivilized!

I never did adjust mine when I cranked my t-bars, but I also put an AAL. So I still have a rake to mine.

I have a 2" on mine and I get flashed all the time with my low beams on. Might be a good idea to adjust them.

I'm gonna look up what the proper height is. I don't know if mine have come out of adjustment, but they seem to be pointing higher than they used to.
