There is an early Tsb on 04's for a stalling issue. Had the problem with mine. Would randomly stall. Update to the pcm. It could be a FPDM. Would not be a bad place to start.

This is one of the items I was told could be my problem but, My truck was fixed today. It was the Throttle position sensor. I like that every time people make a post its always the way of people to point out lack of maintenance. I'm sure there are some people out in the world that don't take care of their trucks. For the most part people on forums like this go out of their ways to take care of their pride and joy.

I don't know about that - we have had our share of clueless people here. Just because you know how to use a computer and have an Internet connection doesn't mean you know anything about vehicle maintenance. Some of the posts here have been pretty unbelievable.

Its your Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on the throttle body. Mine did the same thing for over a year before I finally threw a code and figured it out.

Its about a $12 sensor. Also recommend you decarb your throttle body, clean your air intake filter and replace fuel filter. Dealership can do all of it for you for about $75 without a diagnostic test.

EDIT: Just read that Akdonkey figured it out and got it fixed.
