ok..CODES HELP!!

I posted a thread the other day about my RPM's surging - I have been checking today for a vacuum leak - have not found one yet. I ran a DTC check from my edge- P0351, P0352, P0356, P0358. All 4 codes show ignition coil issues... Can anyone help? I have no CEL on but these codes were not showing last week when I ran a check. Its an 04 with 125k miles and I changed the COP's (global) and plugs(motorcraft) about 5k ago.

I'd say changed those COPS from Global back to Motorcraft. Do you happen to still have your old ones?

I'd say stick your old ones back on, and drive around and see how the truck performs.

Unfortunately, I dont have the stock ones anymore. My fault...I changed them at my grandparents house and left them there when I went home. Came back and they were gone..... OF COURSE...... If I order new COP's - any specific ones to order? Or just stick with MOTORCRAFT?

I'd recommend sticking with Motorcraft.

However, there are some that swear by the Globals.

I'd also make sure they are the correct ones for your engine.

I'd buy another set of Globals. You can get a whole set for about the same price as ONE Motorcraft. Between the 2 sets, you should be able to find 8 that are good, then cash in on the warranty for the rest.

OK - thank you. I will be looking in to several different options. I am considering globals again, motorcraft, and also another brand from O'reilly's that have a lifetime warranty on them and I can get for a good price due to a budy's discount.
