Is this normal??

Changed the fuel filter, fuel module was replaced under warranty and new air filter
It ONLY does it at WOT 40-50mph around 5000 on the tach it hits a dead spot and then picks back up. Went to the dealer and had a tech drive my truck cause its DRIVING ME NUTS!!!! He drives it and tells me that its normal? REALLY???

I have an MBRP XP exhaust and K&N drop in filter.

Since you did not say you have a programmer, I am going to have to say that's you transmission shifting. The dead spot is due to the time between the gears when the clutch packs are slipping and not fully locked up.

Yes, you can adjust the needed parameters to speed up the shift, and allow it to shift at a higher rpm (among other things). The reason for the slower/softer shift is for comfort mainly. The gryphon I have made a world of difference and thats only with the canned tunes. Eventually I will get around to custom tunes.

A programmer with CUSTOM tunes will help....
