Oil drain plug slightly stripped - How to repair?

fivespeed - I have the Fumoto valve. It is the version with the protruding nipple to slip on a piece of hose to drain right into a waste container. It's never caught on anything. The outlet on the oil pan is on the aft side and is pretty much horizontal. You really don't have anything to worry about.

i have used a fumoto valve with the nipple and never a problem if you look where its mounted you will see that its pretty safe.

the only bad thing about it is that it hangs lower, but i havent spotted it out yet its probably tucked up there prett well. i just know with my luck id run over a branch and rip a hole in my oil pan

X3. I've had the QwikValve on my truck for probably 4-5 years now. Also had one on my previous truck too. No issues what's so ever with it. I love it!
X4, been using mine for years, no issues at all.
