Anyone ever fix the squeaking drivers seat themselves?

I love the regular cabs! I was disappointed when the new F-150s came out they didn't have the same regular cab style as the 04-08s (everything else I love). Good luck with that seat squeak. Just lube and tighten all that stuff down and I bet you fix it!

Well, stopped by my favorite Ford dealer in Vermont while I was there today to have a code read since my ABS light was on (bad sensor on front drivers side) and showed them how bad the seat was squeaking. He said it sounded horrible and he'll make sure it gets fixed under warranty.

Thanks man. Stuff like that is usually covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. Either way, my dealer is really awesome. The guy I have always dealt with is just a really awesome dude and will get anything fixed for me.

I was having the same squeaking issue

I had the same issue, squeaking under the seat, & like you guys figured, around the tracks & the frame. I put some WD-40 around the 4 bolts, & the tracks, where they made contact with the frame, & the problem has ceased!

Mine developed the same annoying squeak, both driver and passenger side which is hardly ever used (17k on truck now).
The pry method works, and will take apart if I have to down the road or when the weather warms up. Applying some upward pressure on the seat pan gets rid of it, so from the link on the other site it is the contact between the metal. If I do rip it apart I may fab up some plastic shims to isolate the metal if I can get a piece between.
