That's not covered under the 8/80 anyway, just the 3/36. The powertrain warranty is better than that.

Well, in that case ...
... I said I didn't know how it is with his 2006 as I didn't know his 2006's mileage or warranty start date or GVWR. I posted it only to give him an idea of something else to look at.

That which I quoted is 2007 anyway as I said ...
... it may not even be same as 2006?

When posting that I was thinking he might have the HD version and I wasn't sure what the GVWR was for his PU, whether it was over 8500 or not .... which if so puts him in the 5 / 50K range.

I see in looking online at specs for 06 though ... that the heaviset GVWR is only 8200. So you are right in this instance, he would be limited to 3 yr / 36K .... which he has said he was past.

Looking at Powertrain, while he might be in it depending on what it was in 2006 ...
... looks like the TB is maybe not covered under that ...
... though ECM and EFP are.

And I bet you would get 5 different answers from 5 different dealers. Everything is about as clear as mud!
