2005 - SuperCab XLT - 4.7L

Have a series of problems with my driver side door (occurred in the following order):
1. Radio would not shut off when door was opened.
2. Couple months later, unlock switch on door would not unlock doors.
3. Couple weeks later, windows no longer work.
4. Couple days later, and the current state of the vehicle, when I open and close the driver side door, I can hear the locks repeatedly trying to open as the door swings from the closed to fully open position, and visa-versa.

I'm not going to take my own door apart, but I'd like some suggestions to give my service tech.

Spray the latch and catch with WD-40 and see if that helps.
