i love my column shifted lariat. that 6th seat comes in handy much more than i ever thought it would. and its black. i dont like black interior in my dd, cause its hotter than fire, but it sure looks good. make sure the 4wd works, no creaks or pops or moans anywhere, and that it all looks safe and sound.

Looks like a nice truck but there may be a lot of rust behind those flares, especially on an 04.

I wouldn't buy a used lifted truck, too many unknown problems can arise way too quickly.

There it is right behind the rear tire.

I see it has WV tags on it, are you from WV also? My main concern is rust under the flairs and chrome, you know they like salt here in the winters.

I would steer clear of a truck that has been running a 3" leveling kit for any part of its life. You are liable to have balljoint problems later on down the road.

Ball joints aren't a huge deal to replace, I know it makes the geometry off but still. And I am from va.

WTF? lifted and 35's gets 14 on the highway?

I get 13.9 and I am on 245/70/17's not lifted.

My truck must be broked, or you life in a real flat area.

I would stay away from it,
1) its lifted
2) has seen 3 owners already.
3) That's too high IMO. I got my 06 XLT with 20K on it for that. 12 seems right to me, but what do I know, my gramps paid $4,500 for a 99 XLT ranger with 120K on the clock.

But, its your cash.

P.S

Some parts of W.VA make me feel weird, just weird and uneasy. Some parts are ok though.

I push 15 MPG on the highway all the time with 35s. If your truck is stock and youre not seeing 18-20, something is wrong.

My truck must be broken then, when I got it all stock with 225/70/17's I put a tuner on a CAI ( later removed) run 93 In it, changed fuel filter and I went from 16.9 to 13.9. Driving at 55 or 65 doesn't change it.

I always do gallons/mile=MPG.
245/70/17
Stock intake new filter. going from tuned for 93 and intake to 93 canned and stock did nothing.

Tire change was not that large, 225---245.
2" level.
Proper air in tires. (40 all around)

Going to change plugs, trans fluid and rear diff fluid when I get the money. Also going to have dad hook up his fuel system cleaner.

Regular oil changes at 3K M/C filter and 5-20 semi.

went from 16.9 to 13.9?
Normally I get 90-105 miles before I get to 3/4 a tank, and about 200-210 at 1/2 and around 280-290 at 1/4 tank.
Pretty sure my tank size is around 27 gallons. 1/4 fill up is around 20-22 gallons.

I have black leather lariat with console shift. I like it. It gives you an extra seat in the front. And it has the pop-out cup holders in dash. However the floor shift does look quite nice.
