O5 Power loss, no codes, no clogged cats~...stummped

hey guys... man.. .... i'm just having a hard time~.... truck has 115k, 2 payments left.. no warranty.. just upgraded stock shocks to the ranacho quicklifts, and 9000's in the back.. had the upper controls, all the bushings , linkages in the front done.... 2 weeks after that..rack/pinion went out....replaced that.... thought all this was a clogged muffler, . so i hacked it off.. nope~.... out 70.. new muffler.. took it to a shop up the road.... said everything was fine.... so they took to a tranny shop.. same thing... fine.. .. so i'm having them change all the tranny /differential fluids.......got the new muffler on.. dynomax bullet 3'., with a 3' turn down..... again i' pick it up today.. from the shop.. more money......

any ideas..i read through some other posts... o2 censor??.. but again.. no codes... i have a programmer, intake.... ... its a 4x4 5.4l, 3.55ls... and run hard~...

i'm lost guys.... if i get it back today and it runs the same.. .. grrrrrr...

HELP!!!

You might want to check your fuel pump driver control module......its located on the frame cross member in front of the spare.....Ford mounted it directly to the cross member causing crap to get stuck inbetween....then the back side of the box corrodes away exposing the electronics......just a thought.

yeah i've read about that.. and seen pics on this forum of people that had to replace it.... i mean if its "going bad" would this be a sign?... .. i'm assuming if it is bad, the truck wont start.... no gas~.. right?

thanks for your input

call from the tranny shop says i was low on tranny fluid, and when the pan was dropped it looked like it never been cleaned~... grrr so that was cleaned, and so new fluides in the diff...... we'll see.. on my way to pick itu p... hope it was all that~..

If that doesn't fix your issue, more details on the power loss would be helpful. Does the engine sound the same? Have you changed the plugs?

I agree power loss doesn't give an accurate account of what your truck is doing and when. Give details of when the "power loss" is occurring, what rpm, what gear (if it's specific to a gear, if it clears up at higher rpm, etc. Have you gotten a dealer to attempt to pull codes. Not all programmers can do the job adequately.

How about your fuel filter. I read some time back, that other forum members were replacing theirs, and noticing power improvement.
