codes P0204 P0356
codes P0204 P0356
codes P0204 (injector circuit malfunction) P0356 (ignition coil F primary/secondary circuit)
anyone have any ideas about these i dont even know where to start

A bad cop......
A bad injector....
A bad plug......
Yeah, check all of those above first. If not then test the volts coming from the terminals that plug into the #6 cylinder and make sure one is reading 12 volts and the other reads nothing so you know its grounded and working... If its not and shows 12 volts on both then you have either a bad PCM or youre wires from the terminal to the PCM are shorting or aren't grounding (which is a PAIN to try and troubleshoot to find - usually they break happens 3" from the PCM harness) good luck! I'm having the same problem with Cylinder 1 (P0351) and cylinder 6 (P0356) send me a message when you find out the issue.
Same problem with p0351 & p0356

Chris, it's an old post.
Both of your codes are an open circuits at the coil or back toward the computer.
The cylinders are on opposite banks.
This leads me to believe there is a harness plugup issue or the connector plug on the computer.
A way to tell is to use an Ohmmeter to check the resistance to ground looking back at the computer on that cylinder's lead from the coil. NOT te 12 volt line.
Do a compare with a good cylinder to see the difference.
You should see about 10,000 ohms +/- and not an open or a low resistance ground.
This is going to point closer to the problem until you get to isolate it.
Your codes are telling you there is an open circuit because the computer monitors the current and wave forms. They are missing or incorrect for expected results so set the codes.
Let us know what you find..
Good luck.
