The two outsides are 500FF and the two insides are 700FF. Mine are wired on two 3 position switches. One switch controls outside driving lights, one switch controls two inside high beam lights. In the up position the lights will come on with my high beams through the use of a relay, and in the down position lights are on all the time. Of course mid position being off. In my sig there is a light bar build link, you can check that out for a little more information on my setup.
After careful consideration, 4 lights don't look that bad.
I think I kind of like it.

Like these bars a lot, but my only gripe are the light tabs being on the front as opposed to the rear. That is the only reason I feel the Randy Ellis bar is worth the money. And I from my experience, I will run nothing but pencil/long range beams on my trucks. They throw light directly in front of the truck but also long range. The driving lights and fog lights only make a slight almost non noticeable difference.

Watson your truck has a sweet stance!

Yeah the picture on their website shows them in the back but when I opened my box I was a little upset but oh-well.

I put the lightbar on yesterday. I wasn't happy with the bottom being open again so I grabbed the old dremel and made some changes to the lower grille and remounted it with the lightbar.

I settled on the Hella's for xmas but I'm not feeling them. You know, kinda like when you buy something on the pulse and then you realize your not as excited as you thought you would be. She hasn't ordered them yet so I could change my mind. It's just the cost of 4 lights for lightforce or piaa's are way to much.

I'd look at the KC Slim Lite long range personally.

The tabs being on the front is the exact reason I built my own light bar. My light bar is probably the exact bar as smitty built with the tabs on the back and 1/2 the price.

I actually love the hellas. I don't care for the black painted chrome looking stuff, looks tacky to me and I didn't want the silver lights. I like the plastic, it's rugged, holds well, and doesn't look cheap. Plus they are very slim so this allowed me to tuck my light bar in very close to my bumper without worrying about clearance issues opening the hood or rubbing on anything.

@ lakemarykid: thanks for the compliment. I would take your truck any day of the week though, I love that body style!

How much was it for you to build yours? I got my smittybilt light bar for $93 shipped, got it when autoanything was having 10% off and free shipping for black friday. I dont have the time or space/equipment to build one. I am very pleased with the craftsmanship on it too, doesnt look cheap at all.

Also you can always cut the tabs off the smittybilt and weld them on the inside and repaint.

If I had a welder I would do that but I think it will look fine once lights are mounted. BTW I paid just over $86 for my from autoanything with a coupon.

I think I have around $35-40 bucks in materials for my bar. Are the SB bars a gloss or matte finish? When I did mine, I had a friend sandblast it, and then I painted over that. Gave it a bit of a rougher texture that I like.

you could make a bracket and bolt it to the top to push the lights back or weld it to the smittybilt bar. Sometimes just buying is easier, I just got my smitty bar and I like it, i had to modify the rubber mounts on my KC lights i had to sand a flat spot on the bottom vibration dampener to make it sit right, but I dont mind..

For the price its well made. I dont park where ppl will back into me.

Btw they are a gloss finish I like it as it matches my truck, Although the bedliner finish looks good too.

Installed my two KC Daylighter's 100w long range and wow its like instant daylight...

I am thinking of two driving lights on the outside or should I do all long range.

in the future i may convert them to HID or possibly do 4 on top and 4 on the bumper.

as for the light bar they include two washers which I feel was cheap, I picked up two more at the hardware store and used lock tight as they don't even include lock washers.

Other than that the bar itself is well built.

I'm getting a light bar to soon, for lights i went with these : http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=413384_0_0_

Their super cheap and I found a guy who had bought them and just bought a HID kit off ebay for $40 bucks and converted them over. Said they work great with plenty of light for less than a $100 bucks. The think that sucks is my bar only has room for 3 lights and i the don't sell them individually.
