Hey man you guys are a source for my knowledge, I learn to doing and asking; all of you are helping me make the right decisions

I certainly am not an expert, however after each project I have found the experts and learn enough to be a credible and reliable source to make recommendations. No one likes to fail, however sometimes we learn to hard way. I don’t make a decsion on any project with out hands on experience or someone else’s hands on experience

Thats what we are here for. This thing will surely be a beast when its done. It will look exactly like mine exact mine is a flareside bed and i dont know if ill be throwing a supercharger on there lol. But sense im stationed in Germany my truck is on a hold so it looks like you will be done before me lol. Unless when i deploy i decide to spend on my money on mods rather than pay off both my truck and jeep

So this is the information ive passed along to others. Now is it true? Well find out and see if the gears fit this build right here because no one else on this site has 5.13s.

I myself took it a little overboard lol and my bad on that. . If i dont know something ill be the first one to search it rather than have someone else tell me and if so ill still double check what they tell me. Id rather work on my truck myself than some mechanics now a days.
Great Thanks mhockey9090, and I totally agree with you about mechanics these days

hockey- Its all good. I know just enough about some things to be dangerous lol. I also search and search. I triple check myself on most things anyways. I love to work on my truck with my dad or by myself. I will be building my first sub box in the next month as I am getting a 12 and an amp for christmas. The only thing a mechanic needs to touch my truck for is an inspections and stuff I don't have access to the tools needed.

My F150-That is the best way to do it. 2(or more) minds are ALWAYS better than 1. Experience is just a plus

Either way I wouldn't recommend getting two different gear ratios. That's like a "rigging it to work" situation. As stated, in 2WD it "shouldn't" hurt anything, you never know when you might like to have 4wd. I know I said I would never use my 4x4, but it has came in handy on many occasions. Can't wait to watch this build take place!

ask Eric, IOR F150, he only did his gears in the rear when he re-geared and he has had no problems, I think his 4wd does not work anyways and if really worried just take out the front drive shaft, problem solved!

haha well at least you would be doing something, instead of all the threads started about an SAS or huge lift and they end up not doing it or just buying a 6 inch kit.
