5.13 will fit in the rear, but nobody makes a 5.13 reverse cut which is what you would need for the front. So basically you wont be able to run 4x4. 4.88 is plenty to push 40's.

You must have known exactly what you wanted to do to order the lift and not even have a truck yet. But it's gonna look good when completed.

Ive told him this in his other thread man. BC my gear guy was going to have a custom set made of 5.13s made for my front in reverse cut but then came back to me and told me that they would not fit. But like i said. Well see how this install goes. Plus i dont think anything good will come out of installing 5.13s in the rear and not being able to install them in the front and leaving 3.73 up there.

If it will be a street queen then who cares? He won't need 4x4 if he is not doing any hardcore offroading.

Who even brought up streen queen in the first place? You need glasses or something because my post nor IORf150s above did not mention anything like that. All im saying is im UNSURE if you can drive the truck with TWO DIFFERENT GEAR RATIOS. Does this clear things up for you a little bit?

Odd ordering sequence. That's like getting lingerie for a girlfriend you haven't even met yet... But ok.

Should be cool when you get it done.

Sounds like it's gonna be a good build... And I'll believe it when I see a 08 FX4 with leather with low miles for 15k... NEVER see them around this way... Unless out "low mile" perspectives are different..

But sounds like a cool build

[QUOTE=Texan Aviator;4417053]Odd ordering sequence. That's like getting lingerie for a girlfriend you haven't even met yet... But ok.

To Funny....

Here’s the scope; the story is; I have had 2 lifted F150 in the past (in my album) and just sold my last one in August and bought the SVT Raptor. Awesome Truck not doubt....

However I miss my lifted truck

About a month ago, I met a guy who has and let me drive an F150 with an 8-inch Rize lift, 3-inch body lift and Toyo 40's; WOW I loved it. Don’t care for body lifts, so I am going to a straight 12-inch lift.

Part of the fun for me, as I am sure the same for most of you guys is the HUNT (research), finding the best of the best to fulfill our needs

My last project was a 1000RWHP Corvette, which is awesome, tons of fun, but again I miss my lifted truck. So this is my new project.

Yes, I know exactly what I want and refer to the Hands-On experience of you guys to help me fulfill and complete my new project.

The Rize Kit should arrive in the next 5 to 10 business days. I will take photos all along this adventure, even the garage door lift

Thanks a Million Gents

hey hockey, I brought it up. Happy I cleared that up for you? lol. I said that because as long as 4x4 is not gonna be used, he won't be hurting anything. Does this clear things up for you a bit?

Shanks12, your F150 has a Supercharger?
If so, is your Engine and Transmission stock F150 or modified ?

Gears will be matching one way or another; whether 4.88's or if the 5.13's. You guys say no, however the manufacture (Yukon) is making them and saying they will fit hmm

Just because you dont use 4wd doesnt mean the gears up front dont spin. So yes you still can hurt your front end ( differential ) even if your not in 4wd smart guy. Your tires have to spin somehow

But anyways i was just reading up on some things and some people say its ok to run different gears AS LONG AS YOU DONT USE 4WD and some say only do it if the truck is strictly for mud bogging. But sense you have the money i would have them the same.
