i know in alberta and BC DOT loves to pull 1/2 tons over and issue tickets. its a big deal there with the passes and roads. i was going to put one on my truck but DOT here says no and the cops here dont even like sleds in the back of trucks

 

Down here ive never been bothered by the DOT for weight, ive been pulled over with 12,000lbs behind the F150 by the Highway Patrol cause the license plate was covered with mudd and he couldn't see it and alls he said its quite the load ya have there, what do you have for axles on the trailer, I said the 7k's hes like o alright who built the trailer I like it.
