Another Spark Plug Thread
Started on Friday morning, finished Saturday Morning.
Its my father's truck. 04 with 106,xxx miles.
We managed to break not one of the plugs... we broke all 8.
Dad ran me off around 5pm and then stated in on his own. By 02:30 he had all of the plugs out. I took my time Saturday morning to replace the plugs.
Cranked the truck up and it ran like a Briggs and Stratton at 50 rpm. After quite a few minutes, it cleaned up and ran pretty good.
It still has an intermittent rough idle condition with no codes or CEL.
I bought the Lisle tool on ebay earlier this year and while it was not perfect, we could not have completed the job with out it.

I broke 5/8 and I helped my buddy and we broke 3/8.
good work changing the plugs. Doesn't it feel good to tell people that ford charges $800 and you did it yourself for like $250.
and then you can sell the tool. I sold mine for $20 less than I paid. and because you have to wait over a month to get one around here. It sold quickly.
