FINALLY....A pic of my truck!!!

After 2 month's of owning it....I finaqlly took a pic, lol! I removed my faded fender flares today and wanted to take a pic of them installed after I re-painted them. They came out pretty good IMO(better than before anyway)But I opted out doing the long drawn out process of prepping, promoter, painting, and clearing.I did take my time prepping by washing with simple green, ruffing up with a red scotchbrite, then wax&grease remover.I put on about 4 coats of trim paint(flat black), let dry, then re- installed. All in all,it went pretty easy.Just wish I had more time to do it the right way.Well, hopefully they will last till it warms up again and I'll do it the correct way along with my door handles, mirrors, and wiper cowl.....

She's pretty much stock other than true duals(dynomax bullits,2.5 pipe,4'' rolled tips).edge cs(canned tunes),gotts mod,5% tint, and a pioneer avic d3 indash mated with a crappy ebay $20 license plate camera that isn't worth the envelope it was shipped in,LOL!!!

Wow you did a good job on the flares. They look brand new, and you saved some money doing it which is always a plus.

Normally I would agree but I have to have it because my son was born with a bilateral cleft palat and has (and will have) sinus problems. The doctor gave him special sunglasses to wear but he is 6 and wont keep them on.I had to limo down the wifes tahoe aswell.Thankfully it came with a good backup camera, lol!! It also helps that I have been driving a tow truck for the same company for 12yrs and have really good friends on the local police forces.I have had to show pics of my boy to nonlocal police at checkpoints and what not and they all have been understanding. When we go back to the doctor next month I'm gonna try to get a signed letter.Either way,I have to have it ticket or not.Its just an added plus that looks decent on the truck!

Looks good! but if that paint you used on the fender flare is the bumper trim paint, its going to flake off I used it on my bed rails and it came offf using a high pressure wash.

It wasn't a criticism, it was just a tip, sortof like a "heads up" ... seeing how close you were.
