Potential Project

Im thinking this spring when tax money comes in that im going to lift my truck with some rims and tires. Prolly will be a 3" body lift with DC-II rims havent decided on what tires to throw on her yet. Hoping for some ideas does anyone have these on a slight lift? What size rims and tires should i go with? i still want it to be a usable daily driver. i will prolly have a beater vehicle by then to keep the miles off of her since im sittin at about 82xxx for an 04. By the way i have a 04 scab DSG 5.4

I'd get a 'real' lift... I view body lifts as a last resort, when someone just has to have more. Personally I would swap suspension lifts before I put on a body lift, I'm a staunch opponent of body lifts.

Why not get a leveling kit, or a 4" lift? Everything your asking about is really personal opinion stuff.. I can suggest wheels/tires all day, but what are some your looking at? What do you like? A little more would be helpful!

FX4life hit the nail on the head.

Spring for a complete suspension lift. Unless you're going to install the body lift yourself, the install is going to kill your wallet. You can probably get a suspension lift installed for just a bit more.

A 4" lift with 35s is perfect for these trucks.
