higher grade fuel is a given, so yes.
I run 93 in my 06 5.4L anyway. Its not that much more over 89, so I always get 93. its only a few $1's a fill up.
93 is normally $0.20 higher, that means $4.00 per 20 gallons. A whopping $4.

S/C depends on the person, come like centri, some like roots.

Personally, I think if you are that worried about going fast, and adding power buy a cheep sports car.
For what a S/C costs for these trucks I can go buy a Z28 right now, loaded out.

I hate to say it, but simple truth is the LT engine platform makes far more power far cheaper than most ford engines will. IMO

thanks for the help! I was just seeing if anyone had a huge improvement for the 5.4 that didn't bust the bank account too bad. i guess what im saying is what would be my best bet for a good increase across the motor. something that i could really feel!
Yes both front and rears have to be changed

Get a programmer along with custom tunes and stay away from that canned crap......

If you get a SCT Xcal3 it will be able to grow with your truck as you do mods especially a supercharger.

Get custom tunes with a good exhaust for starters. Maybe headers and some hi flow cats but past that its gonna cost you

.. I'm skeptical of that theroy. I think you have LS motors and LT mixed up. And I Delta ltese or more power than some Ford Motors cuz I can guarantee you a really good build 5.0 will wax up a 305 350 any day. And I have. 04 f150 lariat 5.4 3v and a 5.3 z71 couldn't keep up with me and I 🌲 Ed the **** out of it.

I looked into the superchargers but people don't recommend them for towing... so i looked at the sts turbo and people say its a vacuum for water. Plus the price for either one of them is more than i would like to spend.
I just want to get the most bang for my buck. Let me know what you guys are doing to make your 5.4's perform better.
Hi. I have a 2005 F150 Fx4 5.4 Triton. Tow a 2015 11000lb trailer.

2 months ago (August 18) installed whipple SC. Dynotuned and Tremendous torque increase. Now hauls trailer without a problem. Not sure why you were told different.(expect $8-9k out the shop door)

Good luck with that - you are seriously overloading the truck itself. Engine is the least of your worries.
