I have thought about doing this, but I just can't trust that the paint is going to fully stick to the chrome without having it properly removed from the bumper. Maybe I shouldn't be worried about that, as of lately I have seen a lot of chrome parts being painted over.

I still have the front bumper, but its rusted pretty bad and starting to lose its shine. Aftermarket chrome dosen't hold up well.

Yea, just make sure the shop knows what their doin, shouldn't have no problems with them.

It wasn't like I just put it on right after I picked up the bumper. Had the bumper painted for a week before I had the chance to put it on.
