looking to trade in

My 08 fx2 scab, black cloth seats, sunroof, swb, pretty much the same as I bought it. Looking to slide back into an 07 fx4 for around 20k. I owe 15.7 on mine so I'm not upside down. 35k miles on mine, hoping to get the new one with under 60k miles for around or under 20,000. This is in eastern SC as well to give yall an idea of general prices on trucks for the area. Think its doable? Most I've found thus far have been 24k+

I just want a 4wd and I'm also in the process of getting a house so I can't afford to go brand new. I'm trying to keep my debt to income ratio fairly close to what I have now so that cancels a new truck (though I'm drooling over 6speed auto and ecoboost).

do you have a NEED for 4WD? Such as snowy winters? Being in SC, I doubt that is the case.

If you WANT but don't NEED 4WD, wouldn't it make more sense to stick with the younger and lower mileage vehicle. In the long run, maintenance and repairs would be cheaper. Also, 2WD trucks tend to get slightly better gas mileage, which will save you money too.

It would make more sense to save money month to month and once you have a decent chunk of money, throwing it down on a new truck. Just my 2 cents.
