Broke my blue fuel filter clip, help

Can I get one from autozone? They said they don't have any.. I'm reading some posts from a few years ago that say I need to buy a new line!? Others say a Zip tie works fine. I'm headed to Kansas in two days for a hunting trip no time to order a part.

Thanks

You need P/N 7L3Z-9S317-B if you have the 3/8 " line. You may have the 5/16" and I don't know the part number this. I paid less than $10 for five of them (pink in color). Link below might help.

When I broke mine, I used a old white clip, cut the clip flush to fit inside the fuel line, then zip tied it so it couldn't fall out. Has been that way for over 3 yrs now. I just cut the ziptie to remove filter then install a new ziptie

napa makes a neat kit the you cut the fuel line and use the barbed connector to give you a new clip. worked great for me.

How did you break the clip? You are supposed to use a fuel line removal tool on ***** sides on the filter. And yes that includes the fitting with the blue clip. The clip is not to be removed from the line.

I was removing it improperly.. Ended up taking it to a local shop for a free oil change and they had a clip.
