Compass/Temp not reading

I installed a new stereo system in my truck yesterday and suddenly my compass and temp are blank. Everything else seems fine with the cluster and odometer. I could not find a fuse that showed this to be a part of its assignment and really did not do anything with wires under the instrument panel. I removed the ebrake pedal to get to the molex connector running into the door as well as taking the fuse panel loose for the same purpose on the other side. I also took out the pass SRS and set it aside but did not unplug it. It does seem that the gauges are louder than before when they come on and go off also. Some one please help me so I don't have to go to the dealer!

I still have stock stereo, but compass is 180* out. Recalibrating does not fix. I'm just going to purchase another.

Got it!

Apparently I hooked the small loom for this as I pulled the power wire through the firewall and tore it in half. A few minutes and a few crimps and the compass is working fine. Thanks for the suggestions!
