where does the rear axle vent go???

I got the truck back from the body shop, just cleaning up the loose ends myself now.

They took off the bed of the truck to do some work, but they forgot to reconnect the rear axle vent hose, they just left it dangling(this is the hose that is on the driver side of the rear axle, it's connected to a block on the axle which looks like it also has brake lines running to it. This hose is a black rubber hose).

I read on this board that it goes to the bottom of the bed somehow, I went under there just now to look.

Can't find where this connection is, can someone give me a detailed description or picture of where this hose goes???

Thanks a ton!

Brian

There's a fitting on the crossmember just above the axle. It just pushes on to there.

Tbird summed it up... if you can't find it, drive by a brake shop in your spare time and find someone nice enough to point the clip out
