A few random questions...

I have an 05 F150, bought it used earlier this year and have a few questions i haven't found an answer to yet.

The "Soft Cups Only" in-dash cup holder, is it supposed to have a big gap in between the holders or am i missing something there? I've googled for images and only found 1 that was used, looked the same. Wondering if there's supposed to be an ash tray or something removable in that area?

How about the arm rest cup holders, are they supposed to have "inserts" that i'm missing or are they purposely that large?

Last one, is there a way to make just the cargo light come on without the interior lights as well? My last truck had a button for the cargo light, as this one only has the interior lighting wheel that causes everything to light up along with the cargo light. Any help is appreciated!

The cup holders should have rubber inserts that are removeable

1. Ashtray goes between the dash cup holders.

2. Jump seat cup holders? Like below? That's how they are.

3. Not sure.

I was just thinking about how to modify my cargo light to be separate from my interior lights. It defeats the whole purpose to heave the cargo light on the same switch as the interior lights cause when you turn the int. lights on you cant see out the back window...stupid.

Hey just wondering but to the rear windows slide down on the 04' ext cab? Also does the very back window manually slide open or is it powered?
