Spark plug change went good!
Decided to put in new plugs while waiting for a new tune from VMP
40k since last spark plug change (not much but still) and it went smooth as hell. Drove around town for a while then parked the truck, changed into work clothes and went to town. Engine was still pretty warm and the plugs started coming out easy as cake.

Old plugs (ignore the differences in gap size i was testing the "gapping tool" on old plugs)

Testing the "gapping tool" aka vice and wire on old plugs worked like a charm

New ones:

In they go with some anti-seize on the bottom

So since you just changed your spark plugs, any areas to watch out for? I've got 88k miles on an '06 with the small V8 & need to change out my plugs. I change the plugs on my 77 bronco & 84 suburban but haven't done anything under the hood except a cold air intake on a vehicle from the current decade. Any pitfalls to avoid would be appreciated.
Are 4.6s prone to spark plug breaking too? Well i think it works better while the engine is on the warmer side. I barely used any penetrant since they came out easy. Listen for creaking and if it gets harder to turn after the initial loosening of the plug stop and spray some penetrant and let it sit. Those ones i pulled out had coppercote on there and there was NO carbon build up on them at all. Again they only had 40 000 on them.
VAccum or blow your engine after you pull your COP's. I bought some clear tubing and taped it to the end of a shop vac and sucked out the holes before and after spark plugs were out. I do zero off-roading and there was still mud and dirt there!
