Painted entire undercarriage (w/pics)

Wow, that turned out to be a HUGE job. I'm kinda picky so I taped off any bolts, wires etc. I didn't just spray the wheel wells either, I wanted everything to look factory so I used a textured white Rustoleum Stops Rust on the under parts of the bed and body and used a black satin Rustoleum Stops Rust on the frame and chassis. I even removed the spare and painted the underside of the bed and frame parts. It turned out to be a lot of work since I had to clay the ENTIRE truck after. I guess I half expected that, though. My frame had absolutely no rust whatsoever. I did this as preventative maintenance. I will post pics tomorrow. Couldn't take any since I worked on this with lights until about 12am. Looks brand new under there!

Scroll down for pics.

I did my entire frame in Rustoleum semi-gloss black! I used a brush however, because I wanted a thicker coat, & no overspray!

Here are the pics. It was kinda difficult getting good shots due to the angles.

It's a bit of work, but well worth it. Only took a little less than two cans of rustoleum satin black. Having the clay the whole thing and re wax was more worth than this. I needed an excuse to clay it either way haha.

Thanks again man!
