Upgrading Shocks/Struts on a Body Lifted F150...advise
I bought my truck with what I believe is a 3" Body Lift and 2.5 Leveling Kit with 33's. The suspension on it is something I want to do upgrade but I can't do a complete suspension lift upgrade anytime soon.
I was debating getting shocks for Body Lifted Trucks like the ones Rancho makes.
I want to make sure I am getting the right ones based on my lift as well

I just need some advise as to if anyone else has done this. I do know my current ones have to go because the truck bottoms them out quicker since its lifted or maybe with 65k they are already bad as well.
Thanks!

Oh I Know but I just can't stand them bottoming out anymore. I was even looking at this to replace the leveling kit:

Either that or I just have a few bad shocks that are thunking now

I figured....lol so Blisteins is definitely top notch to the rancho kit that I liked because it was red and white? :P I need to find out which will work with my
3" Body Lift and if I get rid of the 2.5 leveling...I can adjust the blisteins to fix that.

Those Rancho struts you mentioned in your first post are for 4" Lifts, you have a 2.5 leveling kit. you need struts for a stock height truck.

ah okay.....yeah I figured that......I know body lift doesn't move my suspension since i don't have a suspension lift lol (I do want a 6 inch suspension lift but cant afford it)
So pretty much I've figured out that I need stock Struts and Shocks (maybe even the blistein leveling ones for the front) and when I get a suspension lift, I'll need to change them up again lol fun

That 3" skyjacker "kit" is basically a larger strut and aal. Most agree 3" is too much on the front end components. imho this is just an expensive leveling kit.
1) if just want new struts that will level the truck. Get the adjustable Bilsteins or something comparative.
2) if you want an actual suspension lift then do research on all the different lifts. keep in mind all the associated cost that go with it, your looking at atleast* 4-5k with this option.
