Unfortunately my grins were brought to a demise today, not even after owning it 24 hours. Unfortunately someone had to bring my high moral down. I don't even make it through a full 24 hours of ownership before a jealous individual takes it upon themselves to key it. I leave it at school for 30 mins and the tail gate gets keyed. I am truely sick to my stomach right now but fuming at the same time. You would think the high school childish acts would stay in college. It's my 3rd year of college and this is the 2nd vehicle to be keyed.

Dang dude that sucks. Sorry to hear that! I've never understood why people would key a vehicle out of jealousy. I would say that 99% of the time it's somebody that wants everything but at the same time doesn't want to work to get it. If you want something that bad get out there and work for it! After all that's what we had to do to get what we've got.

That sucks man. I know how you feel. When I got mine I had it for 2 days and someone keyed it from the front tire to the tail gate not once, but 3 or 4 times, and none of them could be buffed out. I hid out in the truck the next 2 nights with the 12gauge pump shotgun waiting, but nothing else happened.

Congrats on the new truck, I like that color combo and agree it would look better w/o the chrome. Sorry to hear about the jealous/ignorant (insert other adjective) person/people that did this to your truck. In my line of work, I take reports on that all the time. There are those that want what you have but are not willing to put forth the effort and hard work as we do. This is why we can fully appreciate what we have because we earned it ourselves. Keep your head high.....

its a college thing nice cars are attractive or keys...people in this society in general hate to see some one doing well in every aspect- hence the reason why my daily driver is my mothers escape...sorry to hear about it buddy but i would highly recommend keep her off skool grounds...a short story, a kid in my major program drove a slammed super duty on 24s..walks to the parking lot right in front of capus to find his truck on bricks and the back window smashed...colleges are no place for new vehicles dont let it get to you!!

Very nice truck!
I to have a similar story i bought my 06 right before i turned 19 and love it! I hate it the most when people say its nice to have parents to buy your truck for you. and most dont believe i am paying for it by myself.
sorry to hear about the keying i would be incredibly p***** if someone did that to mine while at school.

Thanks guys. It is surely unfortunate, but karma will get whoever. So far I still love the truck to death and honestly can't believe it is real.

Did the DWV/Gotts intake today, we will see what that does.

Looks nice, I think I would even black out the mirror caps and handles to match the bottom, change out that grille, and take off the chrome side steps.

But truck looks great. congrats.

Congrats on the new truck! That's good for you. I'm glad you didn't get rid of the '94, she's worth keeping

And some people are just plain ignorant...that's a shame about the tailgate
