titl steering column problem
Has anyone had problems with their tilt column on 04-08's?
My 08 (53,000km) worked without issue until yesterday. It hasn't given any signs of trouble but all of a sudden it doesn't want to go up easily.
The tilt lever is well secured and no issues with it. The nut is well secured on the bolt that goes through the column. It goes down just fine, but when you try to return it back up, it doesn't want to go. You can play around with it and eventually get it to go with a lot of force........but you can feel and hear the teeth grind and catch on one another.
