Thanks folks. Everything is ok with my daughter, just a really bad flu bug, that has since made it around my entire family, except me. Can't be too careful these days. She's had a long medical history, so we were playing it safe.

I haven't purchased any new lights yet, but they didn't take anything critical. Still ticks me off, though. I have this sense that it'll be broken into again and I won't get off so lucky. Just ridiculous.

I have an email in to the Ford dealer who carries the Jimmijammer. I'm going to order fronts, rears and the tailgate parts. Has anyone done this and how much did it run?

Front two doors and the lock plug ran me $65 in total.

Seems like not a lot of money for better peace of mind. I finally found pricing and it looks to be about $150 for everything - front, rear and tailgate - so I'm going for it.

Joe - did you put the lock plug in before it ever got punched or after? It looks good except what happens if your battery dies and you need to get in (other than calling a tow company)?

I get my truck back tomorrow ,it's in the shop after a break in.Total cost to the insurance comp is $4,900.The noob made such a bad job of taking a radio out that i had to have a whole new dash fitted, all happened in broad day light in a open air busy parking lot.
So i've not fitted any of the items yet,any truck/car with plastic handles have the same problem as the f150.

That sucks, Joe. Other than the Jimmi Jammers and factory alarm what other options are there to keep these dirtbags out?! Is there a system that will activate if a window is smashed and the door opened? I'd like something that activates a flamethrower out of the running boards and incinerates their f'ing feet!

This is what I'm talking about. Now, how can I get it incorporated into an alarm!

I did the install today, it took about 2 hours.
Start on the passenger side door first because it's a little easier.
For extra strenght i used apoxy glue to set the cap and screw in place.

What kind of anti-theft protection is built into the factory alarm?

Crazy

I work at Egleston and know that this stuff happens, even though it is ridiculous because they have cameras all around.

I hope your daughter is doing well.

I guess I should be more careful with my Surefire Ultra 2 that I have upgraded. Are you a flashlight nut? What high end light was it that was stolen?

It wasn't one of my Surefires, but it was a 3D Mag LED I've had for a LONG time and a 2C from Advance. I don't keep my expensive lights in the truck, but its the point that they broke in and took my stuff.

My daughter is doing great, thanks for the thoughts.
