Spark plug anti seize?

Whats the difference between nickel anti seize and regular anti seize. Im about to change my plugs again and am going back to the motorcraft plugs this time so i want to make sure im using the right stuff. I bought permatex anti seize and it lists spark plugs as a use but its not nickel. Is this stuff alright or should I return it and try to find some nickel anti seize?

Assuming you have the 5.4 engine and are using it on the spark plug stems, you need nickel anti-seize. The regular will not work as it is not rated high enough for the heat in the combustion chamber.

He is correct.

For a little more info. Regular anti-seize is good up to 1600F, copper based is good up to 1800F and nickel based is good up to 2400F. I'm sure each manufacturer has slightly different max operating temps, but you get the jist...
