audit my fluid change please

Im going to do the coolant change, first timer here. I did search but there is alot of ways to do this and alot of ways to screw it up, i figured i'd piece togeather my own method. here it goes, 2005 f150 5.4, changing at 110km due to new truck ( to me) and newly towing a heavy trailer long distances, i have the gold oem coolant
1-remove plastic shroud on top and bottom ( PITA)
2- find and remove plastic pet ****? and lower rad hose from rad and drain into bucket,
3- i found the allen drain on block( only on drivers side) so i will drain and replace
4-where do i fill from? the resevoir ? or remove the top rad hose and funnel in then resevoir?
5- Run truck with heater on, for a while replace fluid in resevoir till cold cool level?
6- can I expect full 20l and what are my chances of an airlock situation?
anyone hate those rubber covers on the bottom of rad.

Have you considered having a shop do it with a machine?

stealership wants 200 and other shops wont do it because the gold OEM Antifreeze isn't compatible with machines, also i am cheap and hate paying for something i may be able to do my self even if i save 50 bucks and takes all night
