My truck seems to drive like a dream since I left the bank about a hour ago and paid the rest of the balance!!! Thanks to the advice of Dave Ramsey

Cool deal man. I paid my truck off a couple months ago. There's nothing like the day you get your title in the mail.

I got a guy coming to look at my '02 tonight, if it sells, I'll still have a payment on my '04, but my '08 Escape will be owned by me. I'll have $365 more dollars a month for mods I guess.

since you have a burden lifted from your shoulders and are wondering where to spend that extra cash.

May I suggest you send it to USAA under my name. PM me for my account number

Luckily I only pay $275/month for my rig....I've refinanced it twice from my original loan. I really need to bite the bullet and just pay it off :o

My 08 is aslo payed for. And yes the gas pumps are a little easier to visit now since that title came in the mail. Now I just keep seeing these 2011 mustangs around town that I wouldnt mind owning. But I dont need/want car payments again.

It is a great feeling... I paid off the the 04 FX4 and 07 Mustang GT a few months ago, which cleared up about $800.00 per month. I then sold the 07 GT and used the proceeds $16K to put a down payment on my wifes new 2011 Flex.. Now we have a $375 a month payment for that

My 2000 would've been paid off this up coming January but then I found this '04 and fell in love with it so traded in my '00 for it....another 5 years of payments, but I've put a plan into place to have it paid off in about 3.

Uh...WHAT? You refinanced a vehicle you were already paying on and still have 6 years left? What are your payments, 100 dollars a month?

I know exactly how you feel OP. I paid of my 95 (bought in 2000) in 3 yrs, worked on paying off my HUGE CC debt (CC's are the devil) afterwards, got it paid off in 2006, & had been living free of debt up until I bought my 2004 here in April.

Financed it for 3.5 years, & am already 6 months ahead in payments. Hope to have it paid off by early 2012. Life is grand when you are living free & clear of debt.
