My product review thread.

Ok, so I feel I have have these parts long enough to tell if they are going to last or not.

here is a list of things I have a review for.

AS requested, pics! now at bottom. (none for floor liners)

Brush guard
AEM intake
PHP gryphon
AVH P-3100 DVD
Weather tech liners.

item Number one,
http://truckgeardirect.com/?ITEMID=GF-812

Black grill/push bar for a 06 4X2 F-150.

Currently $179, but I paid $210 for mine, that price includes free shipping.

Install took around three hours, not working on the truck as fast as we could, just going at a slow pace.

Was not hard to do, but not removing the bumper made it slightly harder, had to cut the lower plastic/vinal air dam as my 4X2 did not have the hole for tow hooks.

Lined up easy enough, and has held up very well.

The hardware it comes with was all powder coated black, besides a few bolts, the bolts all had to be repainted due to me scratching them on install, no big deal.

No movement over time, and I have had this on almost a full year., I have literately beat the hell out of this brush guard.

First time I really gave it a good lick was on a high curb, I ran the truck up on the curb and the brush guard lifted the truck off the ground with out hurting it or the lower bumper.

I have also bottomed out on it (it hangs lower than the plastic valance) many times and its held strong.

Drug through dirt and rocks as well.

Item number two
AEM brute force CAI.
Used from a member here.
Had near a year

Installed easy, and sounds great.
Be warned that this is not going to add any power, it just sounds cool (imo) and looks good.

You IAT's WILL be higher over the stock intake, the gots modd may or may not produce lower IATS and more power.

item Number Three.
Weather tech floor liners 04-08 F-150
Front / Rear. $211 from the W/T page.

By far the best floor liners I have EVER seen, and I have seen my share of Husky liners.
I have seen husky liners in everything from chevys, fords and dodge trucks, to SUVS.

I have seen 04-08 husky liners in person for a truck like mine, there is NO comparison. NONE

These are by far (imo) the best floor protection you can buy for a 04-08 F-150.

The hold mud and water equally well, and keep it well off the carpet, only down fall is no center hump cover.

They also fit like a glove!

Item Number four.
AVH P-3100 DVD

I got this off of ebay, no warranty, but almost $200 less than retail (local or online).

Works great to this day, screen responsive, and the DVD picture quality is great.
