Cheapest Possible Remote Start

- 2004 S-crew
- power locks, windows
- factory alarm and fob for door locks
- keyless entry on driver door

I don't need anything fancy, two-way, or display fob. I just want remote-start. Would be great if the key fob was simple and small.

Can someone give me an estimate on how much I'll be spending? I've also heard its fairly difficult to install the by-pass and do the wiring. I called 10 shops in tampa, cheapest place I found would do a remote start for 400 bucks.

Is 400 too much? or is that about right for a remote-start + install? Thanks

How'd the install go? Did you have any install experience? come with instructions? I'm guessing its still working fine? care to share the model number? And did you need any additional parts, like a "bypass"?

20 questions =-)

Any interest in a Code Alarm CA-670? Mines prewired for a 04-08 F-150 and comes with complete instructions from KCAutosounds. I just never use it anymore so its kind of a waste. I'd let it go for $150, same price as a new CA-5050 from KCAutosounds non-prewired.
