Two f150's and some sand.... Build thread*****

I just want to start off thanking Ford, for the Raptor... which inspired us in a way to do something out of the ordinary.. In a way, it is a worlds first as far as we know.. I thank Ford just for the love of offroading, in specific, desert offroading.. Which is a passion out here in Dubai.. Unfortunately we've driven cars that just weren't built to handle abuse like Ford Trucks.. Even if they aren't in "Raptor" trim...

The F 150, F for FLY

Two brothers out here have taken the dive to take the F150 platform to another level. A Baja Prerunner level. without loosing the street manners of the truck. although a popular thing in the U.S, as far as we know the first in the region (built here)

Enough teasing and get to the pics right?

The Vehicles are an 06-07 F150 (U.S spec) FX4, and a 4door lariat

Keep in mind, these are just teaser pics, the high quality pics are for once this is all done.. and finally get these trucks by each other for a shoot.

So this is how they started off...
The '06 FX4

The 07 Lariat

********EDIT Heres the Vid that gives an idea of what we are trying to build, but better...
YouTube- BRENTHEL INDUSTRIES F-150 LONG TRAVEL PRE-RUNNER

The beginning of the long road ahead..

The black one is unlucky and hurt its engine the day it was supposed to start the build... After it failed the compression test, outside it went.

On to the next one...

some of the parts to go on..

Brenthel, Built to fly.... But not in 4wd :bored:

Its a pride thing if you get stuck out in the desert, and we dont have any pace trucks lol.. time to improvise. They told us there wasnt enough room for a dual front shock and 4wd..

time to modify,

Its getting there... checking clearance for the 37s..

Can you tell what that is under all that dirt?

Time for some clearance..

C notched, reinforced diff housing... (we had a bad experience with the black truck regarding the diff housing lol... Basically we realized that 3 ton trucks shouldnt fly 5 meters in the air with just a shock upgrade) Also, Deaver leafs.

Test fitting the front Fender flares from Fiberwerx.

Meanwhile,,, the Black one is getting the new engine... It was quickly nicknamed "the skeleton" around the dealership... You can imagine all the questions people want to ask when you bring this thing in.

Thats about as far as we've gotten so far.. waiting on the other front shocks, then its time to build the rear shock cage. soon, soon...

The quest for travel.... Suspension travel that is..

Looks like you got a couple Fords in that garage. If you dont mind me asking. Are you originally from Dubai? And this is your shop over there?

Awesome to see some Fords slowly conquering the world
