There are bout 50 clear indicators that that is an XLT not a FX4:

- bumpers
- grille
- wheels
- interior
and on and on and on

Then your truck had the wrong cluster in it. They came with this cluster.

My FX4 has a column shift, bench seat without leather. What i've found out about the 04-05 FX4's at least is that there are some out there like mine that you can get a column shifter on, but without the leather. But like some mentioned, the gauge cluster, turn signal mirrors, tow hitch, colored bumpers, wheels, shift on the fly 4wd, keyless entry etc. you'll know the difference

Window sticker for the VIN they have lsited for that truck says it's an XLT.
